Audi Dealership Shines Up New Digs At Former Downtown Stop & Shop

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — One of the largest retail spaces in downtown New Rochelle is once again open for business, but the shopping experience will be a bit different.

Audi New Rochelle, formerly known as Westchester Classic Audi, has officially relocated from Eastchester to a brand new 130,000-square-foot combined sales service and parts facility in the space previously occupied by the New Roc City Stop & Shop supermarket. The entire campus is covered and the company said the new facility allows for an expanded inventory.

“This Grand Opening is important to New Rochelle on multiple levels,” New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson said at last week’s ribbon-cutting. “It is one of the largest commercial spaces in our downtown and to have it now filled with light, energy and commerce is enormously important to our City. Beyond that, to have a high-quality well-regarded brand like Audi plant a flag here in New Rochelle is a statement of confidence in the City that we are, and the city that we are building. We are very glad that Audi New Rochelle is here.”

While the grand scale of New Rochelle’s newest high-end car dealership drew top executives from the multinational automotive manufacturing conglomerate, Audi New Rochelle is very much a family business with surprisingly humble beginnings.

“It’s great to see this beautiful, bright, open, large facility,” Audi New Rochelle owner Brian Miller said. “I wish my dad was here to see what we have accomplished, coming from our original dealership in Eastchester after 39 years. It’s a testament to our employees, many of whom have been with me for 30 years. We are happy to be in New Rochelle. It’s a new beginning for us. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers and community.”

Audi New Rochelle is located at 2 Harrison Street and is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m.
