Fastest Production Trucks for 2021

Historically, pickups have never been much for speed. Sure, there were performance models like Chevy’s 454 SS, the GMC Syclone, Ram’s SRT-10 1500 Viper truck, and of course Ford’s F-150 Lightning. These trucks would all run from 0 to 60 mph in about 5 seconds.

Technology has come a long way since these trucks’ heyday with truck engines now more powerful than ever before. So, to give a little context to just how quick these trucks of the past were, we’ve compiled a list of 0-60 mph and quarter-mile times for the current generation of half-ton trucks. This data comes from our Truck Trend testing, along with our sister brand, MotorTrend. All of the trucks listed below are four-wheel-drive crew-cab models, which is representative of the heart of the pickup market. Missing models have not yet been tested, and while all drivetrain configurations shown are current, models tested range from 2018 to 2021. Cab, trim, drive, and gear ratio will all have an effect on performance. These numbers are for informational use only; your mileage will vary.
